Together Merel Naomi and Mirjam Rietberg put their harps in the spotlight - because what could be more beautiful than a harp? Exactly: two harps! You’ll discover the versatility of the harp as they share with you the wide variety of soft, powerful, joyful, and raw sounds the harp can produce.

Merel and Mirjam are two creative, classical harpists who love to improvise, challenge each other musically, and use the harp in suprising ways.

Their program includes their own arrangements for two harps of film music and Irish music, as well as the passionate South American music of Piazzolla, and two sonatas by the 17th-century composer Scarlatti. And you’ll be enchanted as they play on two small harps while walking through the audience!
