Jamila Woods - Melkweg
A poet, activist, and songwriter, Jamila Woods is all of those. The multi-talent from Chicago started her career mainly by writing poetry. In 2017, she released her debut album called 'Heavn', which, in addition to Chance The Rapper, also featured other artists such as Noname and Saba. Her third studio album 'Water Made Us' was released at the end of last year. The American performs in the Melkweg.

About Jamila Woods
After obtaining her bachelor's degree at Brown University, she developed further and wrote a music album with fellow student Owen Hill called 'Almost Us' and the EP 'The Joy' in 2019. In recent years, she has released several singles, including the hit 'Tiny Garden '.
