Abdel Achahbar, better known as Lijpe, found his passion in rap and escaped the negative spiral of street life, forming the common thread in his tracks. Lijpe's rap sessions, recorded in a friend's studio, were viewed millions of times, and in 2014, the rapper signed a contract with the Dutch hip-hop label 'Top Notch'. Subsequently, Lijpe became part of the new generation of rappers, also known as the hip-hop collective 'New Wave'.
