South African singer-songwriter Matthew Mole returns to Amsterdam with his cheerful mix of folk with electronic influences for a show in Tolhuistuin.

'Get Out Of The Garage' competition
Matthew wrote three albums and several EPs completely solo. In 2012, he won the prestigious Converse 'Get Out Of The Garage' competition. This accelerated his career and earned him a contract with South Africa's independent record label, Just Music.
He finds inspiration in his music close to home: 'My songs are inspired by my family, the people I love. They are a solid base of support,” says Matthew. His most recently released song 'I'm With You' was nominated for yet another award at the South African Music Awards, where he has previously won prizes for his work.
