HOOFS
Music that kicks straight through your eardrums. The band name HOOFS couldn't be more appropriate. Balancing on the edges of post-punk, punk and noise, this band blasts through your speakers and off the stage. As 'Never Mind The Hype' talent, they have made the Popronde unsafe with live performances that grab you by the throat. About their live performance, 3voor12 says: “The aggression radiates from the stage; this is clearly not a band for the faint of heart”. And so it is. And with songs in your pocket that “feel like a beating,” you know what to do. Go see that.
BOWL
The five-piece band BOWL brings a fresh atmosphere that the post-punk genre is happy to welcome. With atonal, disorienting guitar riffs, critical lyrics and a tight rhythm section. With their songs, they deal with themes such as modern masculinity and, for example, they question contemporary religious issues. To get the conversation going about these topics, but also certainly important: "We want it to be moshable and danceable."
