Broad taste in music
Singer and rapper Roy Woods broke through in 2015 after signing with the record label OVO Sound and releasing the single 'Drama' with Drake. Not much later, the then 20-year-old Woods could be found at major festivals such as Lollapalooza, and toured with Drake and Future. His great examples are Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Usher, Bone Thugh-N-Harmony and Nelly. Because his taste in music is broad, his music also goes in all directions. From hip hop and R&B, to pop and even influences from EDM and dancehall.
Following the success of his EP 'Dem Times' in 2020, Woods released his second album 'Mixed Emotions', on which he collaborated with Coi Leray, Jada Kingdom and Vory, among others.
