This is a sparkling afternoon for everyone aged 4 to 100! It features music from different corners of the world and professional dancers. The performances involve improvisation, meetings, and exchanges with the audience. There will be a cup of soup and delicious mint tea at the end.

About 'Living in your Neighbourhood'
'Living in your Neighbourhood' is a cultural program in Amsterdam Oost that offers free afternoons, workshops, and presentations full of music, dance, and stories.
The focus is on accessible encounters that connect and bring people together. These encounters should occur in accessible places in the neighbourhood where everyone is welcome and can be themselves. Where people make music together, dare to sing along, reach out to each other, feel safe and secure, have valuable conversations, and dare to get up and participate.

About Grand Café Genieten
This grand café next to the district office is available to the neighbourhood in the evenings and weekends. Active local residents and organizations use the space to promote social cohesion and meetings between local residents. Various fun and educational activities take place, often based on voluntary efforts.
