Experience a unique night out at Scala | Foodbar & Theater. Scala offers a creative blend of theatre and dinner. You can visit up to three performances of 20 minutes in their own theatre studio. Every Sunday, Scala offers an English program before, after or in between the performances; you can enjoy delicious food & drinks in the food bar.

Only in Amsterdam

You can find the Scala concept only in Amsterdam. Scala combines food and theatre, creating an inviting space for socializing and gathering with friends or colleagues. The central location between the Jordaan and Westerpark makes it the perfect spot to meet up. It’s in the centre of the city’s cultural heart and strives to make the theatre industry more vibrant.

How does it work?

You can book your tickets for Scala | foodbar & theatre here. Reserve 2 or 3 performances at the times you prefer. The program differs every Sunday. In the ticketing system, you can see which performances play on the day you want to visit. When you purchase the tickets, the system will automatically reserve a table. The table will be ready for you in the evening from 18:00, but you can enter whenever you want. During the night, you order from the menu.
