Too Much Pressure
During the ska revival in the 70s, they scored world hits like 'On My Radio' and 'Too Much Pressure' with their danceable mix of reggae, ska and punk and their charismatic frontwoman Pauline Black. The Selecter has remained active all these years and released the album Human Algebra in 2023.
Sadly, co-frontman Arthur 'Gaps' Hendrickson passed away in June last year after a short illness. Original drummer Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge still plays in the band, alongside Pauline Black of course. The performance is in honour of the 45th anniversary of the debut album Too Much Pressure , which will undoubtedly feature many old hits!

Before the concert we will show the new documentary ' Pauline Black: A 2-Tone Story ' in the Cinema, part of the Doc'n Roll Film Festival . The film tells the extraordinary life story of the singer and Pauline does an introduction for the film.
