The Yellow Rose Singers
A program with a cappella choral music ranging from Brahms to traditional spirituals. The Yellow Rose Singers formed in 2012 to perform at the International Festival of the Aegean in Syros, Greece. The group performed again at this festival in 2017 and 2022. They also performed in England and Ireland for an American Classics Festivals and Tours trip in 2019.
The Yellow Rose Singers are a collection of choristers who have sung in ensembles led by Dr. Gary L. Mabry through the music departments of Abilene Christian University, The University of Texas at San Antonio, Opera San Antonio Choir, and San Antonio Choral Society. Others are professional music colleagues and members of community ensembles.
