YPF European Piano Competition – Semi-Finals
The ninth edition of the YPF competition will take place from 26 February to 9 March 2025. After the success of the first European competition of the Young Pianist Foundation in 2022, the competition in 2025 will again be aimed at young pianists from one of the member states of the European Union, including the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The YPF European Piano Competition 2025 – Grand Prix Youri Egorov, will again take place in the BIM hall and next door in the Muziekgebouw and is open to pianists up to the age of 27. The young talents will compete in front of the renowned international jury for a place in the final on 9 March and of course for the first prize and, who knows, the Grand Prix Youri Egorov.
Announcements
The names of the semi-finalists will be announced on Saturday 1 March after the Quarter Finals. The jury will announce on Wednesday 5 March around 15:30 who will advance to the Final on Sunday 9 March in the Muziekgebouw. Start 10:00, 60 minutes per participant, 4 participants per day.
