Guided Tour Past Disquiet
Every month, Framer Framed hosts a guided tour of the exhibition Past Disquiet, led by curator Rasha Salti, which highlights the overlooked role of politically engaged artists in the anti-imperialist movements of the 1960s to the 1980s.
Guided Tour Past Disquiet
Framer Framed organizes monthly guided tours of the exhibition Past Disquiet, led by curator Rasha Salti. This exhibition reveals the forgotten history of politically engaged artists and initiatives that played a key role in the anti-imperialist solidarity movements from the 1960s to the 1980s. It is the result of more than a decade of research by curators Kristine Khouri and Rasha Salti. After the guided tour, visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation, followed by a silkscreen or linocut workshop led by local artists.
