Isa Roelink - OHS-Prize Winner exhibition
In her work, Isa Roelink weaves various subjects from a strongly personal perspective into tapestries. During the SBK Sprouts Young Talents exhibition 2023, the artist won the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Incentive Prize. This prize included the purchase of a work and an exhibition at SBK Galerie, KNSM-laan 307-309, 1019 LE Amsterdam. Entrance is free.

Isa Roelink
Isa Roelink (1997) graduated from the Royal Academy of Art painting department in The Hague. In her work, she combines dreams and science, myth and reality, history and current events, old stories and modern pop culture. As an artist, she embraces the subtle power of textiles as a medium of profound traditions and expressions and demonstrates the value of craftsmanship in a modern context. The work places the traditional meaning of textile work in the context of painting. The textile works thus serve as a playing field where boundaries become blurred.
