Kandinsky
On Wednesday, June 19, H’ART Museum will open its doors for its first exhibition in collaboration with Centre Pompidou: an exhibition on Wassily Kandinsky.
Kandinsky
Back to the land where they were once made by Kandinsky
More than 60 works of art from the Paris collection will travel to Amsterdam, especially for this exhibition. It promises to be a special retrospective exhibition: from Kandinsky's early figurative work to his abstract paintings that made him so famous. A personal journey that made him one of the pioneers of abstract art. These rare works show typical Dutch scenes from the early twentieth century. From a Scheveningen beach scene and the Rotterdam harbour to typical North Holland houses on the water. Four Dutch Kandinskys will soon be on display in the exhibition.
