Moniker: An Origin Story
Moniker: An Origin Story focuses on legendary moniker artists, with a special focus on the creative friendship of Russell Butler, aka buZ Blurr, and Bill Daniel - a friendship that spans more than 30 years. This is also a tribute to the beloved Butler who passed away in January 2024; this group exhibition of like-minded makers plays a central role in celebrating his legacy. In addition to the focus on buZ Blurr and Bill Daniel, Moniker: An Origin Story also shows 37 steel boxcar panels from the Massillon Museum. This shows unique moniker artworks by both living and deceased artists from this tradition.
