Opening of 'Tongues' Exhibition
Tongues showcases the work of 11 artists that explore the search for ‘home’ and identity by responding to a written text that is important to their sense of belonging or un-belonging. Together, texts and artworks will form a new narrative, a new tongue that speaks to a broader sense of home, community and identity in an increasingly multicultural society.

Exhibition Opening
Treehouse NDSM developed an exhibition that looks into spaces of in-betweenness to raise questions about what constitutes a home. In these areas where many cultures and languages come together, how do people (re)formulate their identity based on the place they find themselves in?
The Exhibition Opening will feature the music performance The Silent Boy and the Aurora of New York inspired by two poems of Federico Garcia Lorca from Ainhoa Pérez Echepare and Álvaro Rey de Viñas.
