Really? Art and Knowledge in Time of Crisis
About the meaning of knowing and not knowing
The belief in social progress and scientific rationality is giving way to an era of radical uncertainty and unpredictable risks. This trend is an important factor in the erosion of public trust in institutions that are expected to have a monopoly on 'knowledge'.
Really? Art and Knowledge in Time of Crisis shows works based on forensic research methods and data analysis but also consists of other forms of multivisual research. It asks fundamental questions about the meaning of knowing and not knowing and emphasizes the fragmentation and relativization of knowledge in a multipolar world.
