A view of the city through the eyes of Rembrandt
This year, Amsterdam celebrates a grand anniversary: the city has existed for 750 years. Amsterdam has much to offer, both for residents and visitors. It was the same in the past. In the exhibition Rembrandt & Amsterdam, you look at Amsterdam through Rembrandt's eyes. Discover what made the city exceptional 400 years ago.
Admire old buildings, special places and beautiful surroundings. Enjoy art, culture and entertainment. Meet interesting people. Spot famous Amsterdammers. And find out if the city already had a red light district in the seventeenth century.
You will see it all in this exhibition with 60 prints and drawings from the collection of the Rembrandt House Museum.
