Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin is widely esteemed as a premier global platform for the exploration of cutting-edge audiovisual art, film, and media. This edition, specially curated for Amsterdam, offers a multifaceted program that spans film screenings, live performances, immersive VR experiences, interactive dialogues, and an ambitious exhibition. With works ranging from experimental fiction and documentary to hybrid formats that defy categorization, the festival brings together celebrated figures in the field as well as emerging voices. The Amsterdam iteration will feature significant contributions from artists such as Louis Braddock Clarke, Gordon Matta-Clark, Zalán Szakács, and Theis Wendt.

Following its prestigious presentations at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, the festival now takes root in Amsterdam, offering Dutch audiences the opportunity to engage with this seminal event on their own doorstep. Loods6, an iconic space at the confluence of innovation and culture, provides an exceptional backdrop for this unparalleled cultural moment.

Rencontres Internationales invites artists, curators, and audiences alike to engage in a collective reflection on the future trajectories of video art. From December 13 to January 5, Loods6 will transform into a dynamic meeting point where experimentation, dialogue, and artistic innovation are at the forefront of the experience.
