Songs of the Horizon - Amsterdam
The Horizon as Music
Artist Werner de Valk’s Songs of the Horizon transforms the shapes of the horizon into compelling soundscapes. Buildings, nature, and infrastructure are turned into sound, allowing the city to be heard in a completely new way.
A Unique Audiovisual Experience
The soundscapes react to weather conditions and changes in the cityscape, merging together in a dynamic whole. The video installation invites visitors to rediscover their relationship with the horizons of Amsterdam East.
