Get a first look

The BANFF tour is arriving from Canada to ignite your passion for mountain sports and adventure. Get a first look at what the 2024 program has to offer. One highlight is the film Subterranean, in which two spelunkers—Katie Graham and Frank Tuot—venture into what is probably the deepest cave in British Columbia. Diving equipment required.

But that's not all. As a teenager, Mustafa Ceylan exchanges his soccer cleats for ski boots, and today his entire life revolves around his passion for freestyle skiing; a group of freeriders takes us into the mystical world of the Kyrgyz nomads; and Sébastien Bouin shows us why he is one of the three best climbers in the world through his first ascent of the 'DNA' route in the Verdon Gorge.

Following the German premiere in Munich, the BANFF CENTER MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR 2024 can be seen at more than 90 events in Europe. In addition to returning to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, the tour is also coming to Liechtenstein and Slovenia this year for the first time. This year's tour program includes five films. With moderation and intermission, each event lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours.
