Sprouds Film Festival wants to turn the cinema into a place for peaceful protest. A new edition to explore inspiring stories in the most talked-about eco-cinema and debut films. A line-up of eco-cinema and socially critical debut films
Amsterdam Sprouts believes that by showing ecocinema and socially critical debut films, the theater becomes a place for peaceful protest. All films, features and shorts, are fiction, because we believe that through imagination we can change our behavior for the better and rediscover our relationship with the natural world. Sprout Film Festival lets you wonder, inform, arouse resistance and nurture new talent.
With over 25 screenings in Studio/K, Kriterion and de Uitkijk , from feature films to eco-shorts, there is a film for everyone. While you are at Studio/K, visit the free Eco Expo and see the work of young artists who make us think about our relationship with climate change.
