Cello Biennale: Afternoon Recital of Chopin and Janáček by Laura van der Heijden and Quirine Viersen

Chopin's second love was the cello. In addition to the countless beautiful compositions for piano solo, he allowed himself one sonata for another instrument. Anner Bijlsma called the Largo from this cello sonata 'a conversation between two dear friends'. During the streamed corona edition of the Biennale in 2020, Quirine Viersen and Thomas Beijer gave a special performance without an audience in the hall.
