Flauwekult will conclude the Pleinen van Noord project with a grand celebration on 21 September at Boven 't Y shopping centre. Throughout the day, a stage will be filled with music and performances by artists and partners who collaborated on the project. Emerging artists from Noord will also have the chance to showcase their talent. Expect performances from artists like Gerson Main and the Jazz fans. This festive event brings together music, culture, and community, marking the end of a summer filled with stories from the squares of Noord.

Stadspodium Noord

Stadspodium Noord will be a new cultural venue for language and storytelling, set to open in 2029 at Buikslotermeerplein. This high-quality and welcoming theatre will feature innovative performances in the form of theatre, spoken word, storytelling, comedy, and more. It aims to engage local, national, and international audiences with fresh, contemporary stories that reflect today's world. Stadspodium Noord will be a space for new voices and narratives that resonate with the times we live in.

Pleinen van Noord

This summer, thanks to contributions from Stichting Amsterdam 750, AFK, and Stadsdeel Noord, Pleinen van Noord brings a programme filled with stories to various neighbourhoods in Amsterdam Noord. On Zonneplein, Waterlandplein, Purmerplein, and Buikslotermeerplein, local creators, residents, and organisations collaborate to explore and share the stories of these areas. Through spoken word, storytelling, theatre, performances, and visual art, the project provides a platform for residents of all ages to express their narratives creatively.
