KunstRAI is an annual art fair in the RAI in Amsterdam. A large number of well-known and upcoming galleries show contemporary and applied art and design during KunstRAI Amsterdam. The organization trusts that this postponement offers more certainty for a successful and safe event. During the fair, more than eighty participating galleries present their contemporary, autonomous and applied art. Paintings, sculptures, photography, but also design and jewelry are discussed. The first day of KunstRAI, March 27, 2024, is a closed day.

Special Edition

In 2025 KunstRAI will celebrate a special anniversary: the 40th edition of KunstRAI, which coincides with the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. Focus Amsterdam is the common thread of the event. In honour of the anniversary, they emphasize their connection with the city of Amsterdam with this edition of KunstRAI, including the Focus Amsterdam square, the Backstage Academy (in collaboration with the Gerrit Rietveld Academy) and an impressive sculpture square.

KunstRAI

KunstRAI is the longest-running contemporary art fair in the Netherlands, where art connoisseurs and art lovers have the opportunity to see and/or buy the best and newest works of art. In addition to the galleries, there are solo stands in which one artist is central so visitors can gain more insight into his or her work.

On 27 October 2025, Amsterdam will be celebrating its 750th birthday. During the 12-month lead-up to this momentous milestone, the city is going all out. The festival year kicks off on 27 October 2024, filled with various activities from small neighbourhood get-togethers to major cultural events
