In search of human connection
Over seven months, the film captures Daniel Troia's journey as he rides across the Great Basin Desert, gets chased by a tornado in Kansas, and rides across the Sierras, Rockies and Appalachian mountain ranges.
This deeply captivating story has received 19 awards at film festivals worldwide, including "Best Inspirational Film" at the New York International Film Awards, "Best Picture" at the US Hollywood Golden International Film Awards, and "Best Humanitarian Film" at the San Francisco International Film Awards.
Troia's cross-country solo ride shares a hopeful perspective on the world's future and shows that there is much more that brings us together, than what separates us.
50% of all ticket sales will be donated to De Regenboog Groep, a local non-profit that provides services for those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental illness. The film's director will attend and hold a Q&A after the event.
