Proef Pampus is back! The most energetic family festival on Fort Island Pampus. With music, energetic experiments in the Pampus Lab, delicious island food and drinks, a carpentry village, activities in the museum fort and much, much more. This year, Proef Pampus is all about energy because Pampus is fossil-free and we would like to show that!

The most energetic festival for young and older!

During Proef Pampus we show everything that Pampus has to offer and more! The fort museum is open, guides are available for guided tours, the virtual balloon flight 'The Secret Weapon of Amsterdam' is working overtime... But outside, on the green grass ring around Pampus, there will be plenty more to do, see and experience.

Pampus is bursting with energy and we take that a step further with Proef Pampus. Come recharge and experience the most energetic and fun festival on fortress island Pampus.

Island food and drinks

Also, expect delicious island food and drinks (an extensive selection of speciality beers, various food stands, a terrace with the most beautiful view in the Netherlands, an area, especially for the children where they can do carpentry, Pampus Trials, the energy lab and much more. Come and enjoy Pampus play, dance and enjoy with the whole family!

There is also plenty to do and experience in the fort: learn all about soldier life with interactive games in the Story of Pampus, or take a tour with a guide or search the fort for letters in the black light treasure hunt. And fly over the Defense Line of Amsterdam in a real hot air balloon.

This year's Proef Pampus will run entirely on natural energy because Pampus is fossil-free and we would like to show that off!
