Stargazing Evening
Visit the University of Amsterdam's stardomes. When the weather is nice, they point the telescopes at the moon and Saturn.
Stargazing Evening
The moon and Saturn
Come stargaze at the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy. No, they don't have pancakes. Bu they do have telescopes. If it is clear this evening, you can observe the moon and Saturn, among other things.
A tour of the star domes starts every hour on the hour (lasting approximately 45 minutes), during which they use the telescopes when it is clear. Not clear? No problem: during the tour by an enthusiastic student or employee, they will show images they made in the star domes, and you can ask all your questions about astronomy, telescopes and science.
Registration is unnecessary, but it guarantees a spot and can be done one week in advance here.
