Ukrainian Food Festival Maslyana

The Thomas Church in Amsterdam Zuid opens its doors for a one-off two-day festival. The festival aims for Amsterdam residents to learn to feel, see and smell Ukraine. This is based on Ukrainian cuisine, music, workshops and various activities for children. Maslyana is a festival full of festive activities, Ukrainian music and an abundance of delicious pancakes (mlyntsi).

To ensure that everyone falls in love with Ukrainian cuisine, all foodies are invited. Here you will learn to love traditional borscht to tasty syrniki, there is something for everyone. We have prepared a modern celebration of Maslyana especially for you. Enjoy favorite Ukrainian music, live pancake baking, a non-stop dumpling masterclass and plenty of entertainment for the kids!

What is included in the ticket price

By purchasing a ticket, you can participate in the non-stop culinary masterclass on how to make dumplings (varenyky) from scratch. You get to prepare them yourself and learn all the secrets of the perfect dough. In addition, each participant receives the recipe for the tastiest dough and fillings.

Bring your family (children under 12 have free entrance). A team of professional animators keeps children busy with fun things.

We donate part of the profits to United24, a fund founded by the President of Ukraine. United24 provides humanitarian and medical assistance, including ambulance vehicles, X-ray equipment and operating tables.
