Zuidoost Beseft
By popular request, the 'Zuidoost Beseft' parade will take place for the second time this year on 1 July to the Oosterpark, where the national commemoration ceremony for the past of slavery will take place. Join the Zuidoost Besef parade and then enjoy culture, music, people and crafts at the first Zuidoost Besef Festival.

Program
9:00 - 10:00: Meet at Bijlmer Arena Station and Amstel Station
10:00: Pick up bags at Amstel station
10.30: Amstel station location: setting up the procession + speeches
11.00: Start walking from Amstel bus station accompanied by various live music groups
14:00: End of procession in Oosterpark
16:00: Start of live national commemoration ceremony in Oosterpark (participants in the parade can also follow this in the park)
The first Zuidoost Besef Festival starts at 16:00. with a craft market in the Nelson Mandela Park, participants in the parade are expected in the Nelson Mandela Park, use your GVB day ticket.
