Circusbende enters the theatre! The menu includes plant-based food (main and desert), followed by the work-in-progress circus performance by Obsolete Elegance, a collaboration between the companies Humo Y Polvo and Las Corpa. Humor, metamorphosis and absurdism are woven like a common thread through this performance.

Inspired by the deformed �� by that which is broken and torn apart – the artists create a world far beyond reality. Using circus techniques such as acro dance and rope, but also through comedy and costume, you end up in a surrealistic rapid. “I have rarely seen such giggles ripple through an audience of young and old as during the Circusbende festival,�� according to Volkskrant critic Annette Embrechts about this performance at Circusbende Festival.
