In honor of International Women's Day, Curated by is organizing an inspiring and interactive community event on March 9th at the Melkweg Cinema, dedicated to Women in Drum & Bass. This community event brings together a group of female DJs, producers, vocalists, content creators and organizers to talk about their passion for drum & bass and their experiences in the music industry.

What can you expect?

During this interactive session, panel members will discuss relevant topics within the dnb scene with the audience. Think of themes such as:

The history of drum & bass
How do you pitch your music to labels?
How do you organize your own event?
How do you effectively put yourself on the map as an artist or label via social media?

In addition, the speakers will give short presentations, supported by visual content. The session will conclude with a Q&A where the audience can ask questions.

Although the drum & bass scene is often dominated by male artists, it is important to continue to build an inclusive and diverse community. With this event they want to stimulate the conversation, inspire and motivate others to actively contribute to the scene.
