Poor FPK! - A Bambie Benefit Bambie

With a fundraising campaign, Mime Theatre Group Bambie is drawing attention to the difficult situation in which the Performing Arts Fund finds itself. How hard it must have been for the FPK employees to have to disappoint so many theatre groups in the recent subsidy rounds. And to have to hide their love for all those talented performing artists in ugly rejection texts. That's what you get with a government that wants to spend less and less money on art. Please note: the end time mentioned is indicative.

Benefit event for the NFK

Mime theatre group Bambie sees the loss of its multi-year subsidy as a cry for help from a cash-strapped fund. The group fully understands that now the reprise tour of Bambie 20 – the furious version must also be cancelled. "Honor if the budget allows", how awful to have to write this in the realization that a theatre group will disappear from the stage as a result!

Bambie grants the Fund more compassion and more budget. That is why this benefit evening on 21 January in Frascati, where Bambie 20 will be performed one more time. The evening starts with an auction of valuable artefacts, also from fellow theatre makers. All proceeds go to the FPK.
