The National Ballet / Helen Pickett en James Bonas - Lady Macbeth
Lady Macbeth
A dive into the mind of one of Shakespeare's most fascinating creations. In this new, full-length production, Pickett and Bonas reveal, as it were, the unseen, hidden scenes from Shakespeare's famous tragedy Macbeth , as seen through the eyes of Lady Macbeth, one of the sixteenth-century playwright's most evocative 'creations'. As spectators, we experience her fears and desires, her unbridled lust for power, the height of that power and, ultimately, her descent into deep despair.
