The Zonnehuis is a theatre in Amsterdam Noord, located in a grand Amsterdam School building that originally served as a meeting place for the workers’ union of the NSDM Wharf.
Musicals and tours
In addition to musicals for the whole family and music shows, it is possible to take a tour of the building several times a week, which is an excellent example of Amsterdam School architecture.
Over the years, the building fell into severe disrepair until the municipality decided to restore the Zonnehuis. It has retained its original interior and has been open to the public again since November 2014.
