Remy van Kesteren
The harp in the spotlight
After a sold-out concert series at De Parade, the harpist returns to the clubs. Accompanied by a full band, in which singer-songwriters Robin Kester and Kim Janssen (Cape Sleep) will play an important role. The unique vocals and musical styles of Robin Kester and Kim Janssen will create an atmosphere together with Remy, in which the harp is central in a modern, band-oriented setting with influences from artists such as Portishead, Massive Attack, Bon Iver and Radiohead.
Robin Kester is known for her dreamy, melancholic sound and was praised for her refined indie pop. Kim Janssen, under the stage name Cape Sleep, combines a deeply emotional sound with influences from folk and alternative pop. The band will also consist of Wannes Salomé (keys) and Annemarie van den Born (drums). Jurjen Alkema is responsible for video mapping and visuals.
