Deeptech summit lands in Amsterdam
The Hello Tomorrow Global Summit will move from Paris to Amsterdam in 2026, reinforcing the city's status as a deeptech hub. The relocation aims to boost Europe’s deeptech ecosystem by connecting researchers, startups, and investors, accelerating the commercialisation of innovations like quantum computing and photonic chips.
Dutch industry leaders have played a crucial role in securing the event's relocation. ASML, a global leader in semiconductor technology, sees this as an opportunity to boost deeptech innovation. Damen, a major shipbuilding company, along with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Invest-NL, are providing strategic and financial support. Invest-NL aims to leverage its network and resources to attract global investment and drive deeptech growth in the Netherlands.
Why Amsterdam?
While the Summit is not the largest tech event in Europe (that title belongs to Slush in Helsinki), its deeptech focus makes it a crucial platform for innovation matchmaking. The event will take place at the dynamic NDSM-wharf, a location that embodies Amsterdam’s spirit of creativity and forward-thinking.
Moving the Hello Tomorrow Summit to Amsterdam underscores the city’s strong reputation for innovation and investor support. With a growing deeptech scene and strong collaboration between researchers, startups, and investors, Amsterdam is set to play an even bigger role in shaping future technologies.
