International Congress and Convention Association
About ICCA
The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) was established in 1963 by a group of travel agents who sought to facilitate the exchange of information on global congresses and conventions. Since then, it has become a highly regarded non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam. ICCA acts as an agent for promoting global collaboration within the meetings industry, helping its over 1000 members from more than ninety countries to maintain a competitive edge through networking and resource sharing. The organisation's members come from various sectors, including destination marketing, event management, transport services and venue operators, which play vital roles in this thriving ecosystem.
Our partnership
Joining ICCA in 2003 demonstrates the Amsterdam Convention Bureau’s longstanding dedication to positioning Amsterdam as a top destination for international conferences. Through this partnership, we can form strategic alliances with other leading cities globally, thus enhancing the city's overall attractiveness within the meetings industry.
As an authority on global association meetings, ICCA is our essential partner. It provides unparalleled access to data, educational resources and networking opportunities, all crucial for business development in the business events landscape.
