Marble Waves is a folk band from Amsterdam and Utrecht, whose style is heavily influenced by Americana, indie and pop. Their music is known for poetic lyrics, vocal harmonies and dreamy guitar work. Their debut album "Endless Drifting" was released on September 29, 2023. Earlier that year, the singles 'What If', 'Lovesick' and 'Let me Fall' were released.

Zorzal is a son huasteco trio (Mexican folk music) from the northeastern region of Mexico called Huasteca. The so-called Son Huasteco or Huapango, is warm and cheerful music, played and sung by the three huapangueros. Zorzal's ambition is to build a bridge between the Mexican folklore music Son Huasteco and the music scene in Amsterdam.

'Change; The disadvantage of the doubt' is organized by Ruben Alvarez Solano, Nina Ouattara, and Axel Limbeek, three students who will graduate from the Conservatory of Amsterdam this year. Expect an evening full of compelling melancholy and energetic pop outbursts. All acts spotlight themes such as growth and self-reflection in a bittersweet atmosphere. I Don't Know How But They Found Me, or iDKHOW for short, is the creative brain of Dallon Weekes, formerly known from The Brobecks. The American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer will perform at Melkweg.

After more than 20 years, 311 is returning to the Netherlands, to Melkweg. The American rock quintet 311 is known for their mix of reggae, hip hop, funk and metal.

West Coast Big Band: Tribute to Peter Herbolzheimer

Peter Herbolzheimer's famous big band made a splash in the 70s, 80s and 90s. His idiosyncratic work as a composer and arranger has its own signature and, above all, a lot of energy. In the Bimhuis an ode to a big band giant, with international top soloists from his orchestra.

Nederlands Jeugd Strijkorkest - Memento

The Netherlands Youth String Orchestra is a training orchestra for young talented string players aged 14 to 20. The NJSO performs in Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

Clean Pete's Classical Revue

Twin sisters Loes and Renée Wijnhoven, better known as Clean Pete, celebrate their love for classical music in 'Clean Pete's Classical Revue'. Together with the Dudok Quartet, Remy van Kesteren, Ruben Hein, dance and choir, the boundaries of classical music are explored and stretched.

Maarten Koningsberger & Friends

On June 24, Maarten Koningsberger will say goodbye to the art of song in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. He does this with a host of musical friends – twenty great musicians with whom he has celebrated triumphs on international stages throughout his career. The program will be very special, from Byrd to Barber and from Schubert to Duparc. It is also a benefit concert, the proceeds will be donated to the Margreet Honig Foundation.

La Bomba de Tiempo

La Bomba de Tiempo is an impressive percussion sensation from Buenos Aires, Argentina, that improvises with a conductor who controls them via no fewer than 70 different signals. When La Bomba is switched on, a unique ritual of rhythm and dance follows, in which everyone is drawn into it. The Argentinian group performs at Melkweg.
