'The way a cow does not understand a portrait of George Washington' is a group exhibition with eight progressive artists: AKMAR, Bas Ruis, Daan Lievense, Domas van Wijk, Esmée Bruins, Jean-Philippe Paumier, Lotus Rooijakkers, Lucas Sloot. The focus of this exhibition is on three-dimensional works: sculptures, objects and installations in De Bouwput from 4 to 6 October.

Lines, Bumps, & Curves - Miguel Luis Calayan

This is a collection of photos about bodies, identity, and the relationship between the two. Through a series of portraits of three individuals, we see how our unique anatomies dictate how we are perceived and, through that, how we feel about ourselves.
This event is in line with Pride as we celebrate the diversity of our bodies. It will be at Cloud Gallery on 267 Prinsengracht. The opening is at 18:30 on Thursday, 25 July.

Van Goor explains, "The photos I take are mostly spontaneously photographed. It is spontaneous in that I take a picture and then make contact with the person. I do this this way because asking in advance often results in a posed photo."
