Announcing IN Amsterdam’s new online tool for appointments
New online tool for scheduling appointments
Plan-IN will replace the online tool that is currently in use.
With the new tool, you can:
- Request appointments, including VVR appointments – a new feature!
- Reschedule appointments up until 48 hours in advance
- Track the status of your requests
- Streamline your client communications, as applicants will be notified automatically about upcoming appointments
These are just a few of the new features!
Please note that from 15 May, you will not be able to make appointments by using the old online tool.
If you use our current appointment tool
If you have an account for our current appointment tool, please be advised that from 15 May, you will no longer be able to access this tool. Requests made before this date will be processed as usual.  On 15 May, you can still make an appointment using our appointment form and then calling IN Amsterdam. Between 16 and 20 May, making new appointments will not be possible, and our phone lines will be closed.
We will send you a separate email with new login details for access to the new tool. The email will also include a manual with instructions on how to use the tool. If you have not received this email by 21 May, please reach out to welcome@amsterdam.nl.
If you use our online forms
If you normally use the online appointment form for individuals or intermediaries to schedule appointments and then confirm by phone, you can continue doing so from 21 May onwards. The forms will remain accessible during this transition period. However, between 16 and 20 May, you will not be able to confirm appointments as our phone lines will be closed during that time.
Providing personal details of applicants
Please note that from 21 May onwards, you must provide all applicant details through the Plan-IN tool or the online appointment form. This is due to a change in policy from the IND regarding information exchange.
Further information
If you have questions or comments, please email welcome@amsterdam.nl, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our services.
