Easing into life in the Netherlands: the IamExpat Fair
Connect and learn
Finding a home, choosing a school, learning the Dutch language, filing your taxes. Getting a job, setting up a mortgage, finding a lawyer, furthering your education. As if moving over and adjusting to a new country weren’t already overwhelming enough, it comes with the added challenge of accessing all the right information.
Featuring over 90 exhibitors this year, the IamExpat Fair is the biggest of its kind in the Netherlands. Covering all the relevant topics, businesses will be on-hand to answer questions you may have about life as an international in the Amsterdam Area. Best of all, you have face-to-face contact and can ask questions in person, as opposed to searching for information online. There will be plenty of presentations and workshops to attend, too.
The fair is also a great opportunity to connect with other internationals and share insights and experiences. When you need a break in the day, grab a coffee or lunch in the hospitality area. What’s more, the event is family-friendly, offering parents and guardians a separate supervised kid’s area.
Meet the IN Amsterdam team
The IN Amsterdam team will be present and available at the fair to answer your questions about official procedures regarding immigration and visas, employment law, municipal matters and life in the Amsterdam Area. Be sure to drop by and say hello!
Register for a free ticket
The IamExpat Fair is in its 9th year and each edition sees thousands of internationals attending. Tickets are €5 and advance registration is required. Please note that you need to register separately for the workshops, and these fill up fast. The full event programme will be announced on 5 March.
