Discover the community gardens of Driemond (6 years and over)

What to expect?

The hike takes place along two community garden lots on Stammerlandweg in Driemond. These gardens are home to many different plant and animal species.

During the walk you learn about the nature and history of community gardens in Amsterdam. Through QR codes you learn about the gardens, and how they are kept to preserve nature. You learn about bees, bats, snakes, the waterside, and all kinds of bird species.

After the hike, you can enjoy a drink in the sun at Linnaeus. There are lots of gardeners there to answer all your questions.

Practical information

The hike starts at Volkstuin Linnaeus, every hour between 14:00 and 17:00. There is space for 15 people on every hike. The hike is suitable for ages 6 and over.
