About 1349
Titans of Norwegian black, 1349, are back with their long-awaited 7th full-length: The Infernal Pathway . The album promises a journey through chaos and madness, darkness and danger, terror and destruction.
1349 is AURAL HELLFIRE. That was and still is the primary concept, steadfast since the band first rose from the ashes of Alvheim in 1997. After a fiery show at Norway’s Inferno festival, 1349 began recording at Amper Tone studios and Studio Nyhagen with engineer Jarrett Pritchard. Thus was born The Infernal Pathway , a sonic parallel to summoning and unleashing the beast of the abyss in all its terrifying, ferocious and powerful splendour.
About Kampfar
Now approaching 30 years in existence and having grown into one of extreme music's premier live outfits, releasing albums that would go on to dominate year-end charts and even scooping a Norwegian 'Spellemann' Grammy award for their 'Profan' album, Kampfar looks set to dominate for years to come.
Ofidians Manifest represents Kampfar today. 25 years after their formation, only willing to release new music if they felt it would surpass everything they had done before, it is a summary of the immense struggle of the past years. Everything that lies behind the music and the live performances is laid bare, but told in the only way the band can portray themselves, through song. It is fiercely honest, yet wrapped in their own folklore, the serpent tongues splitting every truth into 2 deeper truths, every sung word dominated by the weight of all the words that have come before.
About Afsky
Afsky is the solo project of Ole Luk, which is based on traditional black metal, mixed with elements of folk music and doom and a mixture of wildness and melancholy.
Afsky was not created with the intention to be a live project, but more of a personal project for Ole. A place where all creative ideas could come together and become reality. Later, by request, Afsky became a live band. In the past years Afsky shared stages with bands like: Wolves in the Throne Room, Winterfyltteth, Uada, Mork, Spectral Wound, Mayhem, Panopticon etc.
