Frank Montis on the Hammond has been an authority in Souljazz for years. It is incomprehensible how his swinging left hand plays the bass, while his right hand adds a rich spectrum of sound and harmony.
Guitar virtuoso Anton Goudsmit blends into the groove in his own unique and inimitable way. Every note he plays sounds like it could be his last. Or, as the British newspaper The Guardian once wrote about him: 'Goudsmit is the kind of guitar player that makes you wonder where the fire escape is'.
