Allysha Joy, the lead singer of the band 30/70, has carved out her own sound worldwide as a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and DJ. In 2022, Allysha released her 2nd self-produced album 'Torn: Tonic' on First Word Records, further showing her poetic side.

Acadia: Raw

Her 2018 debut album Acadie: Raw won Best Soul Album at the Music Victoria Awards and was nominated for Best Jazz Album at the Worldwide Awards. She has performed live with artists such as Ezra Collective and KOKOROKO and at festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival and New York Winter Jazz Festival 2024. Her lyrics are a mix of love, strength, anger, faith and hope for change. She is a powerful live performer with a smoky voice, perfectly marrying influences from jazz, soul and R&B to create a uniquely Australian sound.
