Amsterdam sounds! 750 years Amsterdam
On Sunday afternoon, 3 November 2024, the kick-off of the Amsterdam Klinkt! festival will take place at De Serre to celebrate the start of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary. This event marks the beginning of a musical jubilee year for the city. All choirs and orchestras scheduled to perform in 2025 are invited.

Musical Previews
The afternoon will feature short performances by the WesterHarmonie and the Hemsterhuiskoor, offering a preview of the musical highlights to come in 2025. These performances will set the tone for the festive musical year ahead.
Networking and Collaboration
In addition to the performances, this gathering provides an opportunity for networking and strengthening connections within Amsterdam's music community. It’s a chance to come together, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration in the context of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary. Board members and ensemble participants will have the opportunity to meet each other and the organisers, ask questions, make suggestions, and gather inspiration for the upcoming jubilee year.
