Lumen Folk Trio
Until recently, it was a dream of classical violinist Sarah Lynn Huizing to have an ensemble that could play danceable music. She founded the Lumen Folk Trio only this year with jazz double bassist Boris Kwant and pop guitarist Tom Bouwmeister. Together, they interweave classical music with styles such as folk, bluegrass, and gipsy jazz.

Feet off the floor
The program includes original songs as well as arrangements by Hawktail, the Lena Jonsson Trio and V��sen, among others. Just because music is danceable does not mean that people will get up from their chairs, but with the Lumen Folk Trio, our programmer has experienced for himself the feeling of feet jumping happily off the floor.
