Anna Mieke is a folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from Wicklow, Ireland. Thanks to her poetic and instrumental approach with atmospheric arrangements, Mieke creates a unique sound. The artist addresses topics such as nostalgia, family, memory, death and dreams where raw reality and romance meet.

These extremes form the thematic core of her 2nd album 'Theatre', which focuses on the conflict between consistency and temporality, the immaterial and material and how memories of places and people fade and change. In recent years she has toured as a supporting act with Wilco, Anaïs Mitchell, Lankum and Bonny Light Horseman.
