50th anniversary

Especially for their 50th anniversary, BIMHUIS Loves is collaborating with various venues and breeding grounds in Amsterdam. Together with these partners in jazz, they are organizing five exciting concerts on 5 Wednesdays in October at special locations: Roode Bioscoop, Zaal100, ZOJazzStage, Splendor and Sexyland World. The entire program is now known.

Han Bennink and Ernst Reijseger

Both gentlemen hardly need an introduction; two heavyweights from the Dutch jazz and improvisation scene enter into musical conversation at a place they are all too happy to visit. Han Bennink held a 4-day event in July with four concerts in a row in the atmospheric Roode Bioscoop, while Ernst Reijseger gave a solo concert in the idiosyncratic theatre in June. What are they going to do? We have no idea. Is it worth coming to listen? Absolutely, without a doubt.
